  8. publicly available software packages without the time, expense, resources and
  9. expertise typically necessary to acquire and install these packages. All Ready
  10. Paks come compiled, tested, and ready to run in the target environment and are
  11. available to SCO 80386 and others. Source is available with instructions for
  12. platform-specific compilation

  14. X Pak is a ready to run version of the X Window System (X11R5), along with a
  15. collection of some of the most often used X Window utilities, to allow
  16. simultaineous multiple window on-screen displays. XPak also contains Xaw
  17. (Athena widgets), Xt (the XToolKit), and Xlib, as well as a number of clients
  18. (applications) including: clocks, a calculator, the twm window manager, the
  19. xterm terminal emulator, and an online manual browser.
